Events Calendar

Wild Idaho Rising Tide (WIRT) and allies are ready for the non-stop action of the years ahead, full of events expanding the movement against extreme energy, with powerful convergences, training camps, and direct actions for a livable future!  This calendar lists and links only to activities in the Northwest region and in which WIRT activists participate, including emerging solidarity actions with our comrades across the continent and planet.  Visit this constantly updated events page often and get involved in grassroots resistance to the root causes of climate change!

WIRT holds twice-monthly potluck/pub meetings at 7 pm every first Wednesday at The Attic, up the back stairs of 314 E. Second Street in Moscow, Idaho, & at 7 pm every third Wednesday at the Gardenia Center, 400 Church Street in Sandpoint, Idaho.  Please call 208-301-8039 for agendas, carpools, & directions for these meetings & events across the region.

WIRT hosts the weekly Climate Justice Forum radio program on progressive, volunteer, community station KRFP Radio Free Moscow every Wednesday between 1:30 & 3 pm Pacific time, live at 90.3 FM & online, covering continent-wide climate activism & community opposition to extreme energy projects, thanks to the generous, anonymous listener who adopted program host Helen Yost as her KRFP DJ.
