  1. Are there any WIRT etc. events at the Attic (above my apartment) in the next two weeks or so? I may see if Roberta would be cool with putting a recyclables-only container inside, next to the trash can, in addition to the bin outside by the swing-bench. Please encourage people to use those. I fished a bunch of recyclables out of the trash can inside a few days ago, in an effort to have less go to the landfill. That’s from various groups using the space, so this request is generally directed, not at anyone in particular. We opted for the smallest, 35-gallon roll cart for the whole house, when we had to choose awhile back. Five adults maybe totally fill it once per month.

I get so overwhelmed with work etc., it’s difficult to keep up with WIRT (and many other) goings-on, but I read through what I can as able. What’s the latest news on the Highway 95 C-3 realignment in a nutshell, i.e. has anything been finalized? Concerning crude trains, what’s the scoop on the federal department of transportation pulling the most dangerous models of oil cars? I recall hearing something about it on your show.

    Cheers!
    Matt
