The Wednesday, December 8, 2021, Climate Justice Forum radio program, produced by regional, climate activist collective Wild Idaho Rising Tide (WIRT), features Interior Secretary Deb Haaland speaking at the 52nd anniversary commemoration of Alcatraz Island occupation by indigenous sovereignty activists.  We also share news and reflections on police raids and First Nation and solidarity resistance to British Columbia pipeline construction, requests to drop Minnesota Line 3 protester charges, an abandoned Oregon LNG export terminal and gas pipeline proposal, Washington board approval of a Tacoma LNG project, Virginia denial of a key pipeline compressor station permit, a third experimental nuclear reactor pursuing Idaho testing, and train wrecks and deaths in Idaho, Montana, Iowa, and Alberta.  Broadcast for almost ten years on progressive, volunteer, community station KRFP Radio Free Moscow, every Wednesday between 1:30 and 3 pm Pacific time, on-air at 90.3 FM and online, the show describes continent-wide, grassroots, frontline opposition to fossil fuel projects, the root causes of climate change, thanks to generous, anonymous listeners who adopted program host Helen Yost as their KRFP DJ.
