Climate Justice Forum: COP26 Climate & Nature Lessons, Idaho Lakeside Logging, Armistice Day, Oil Train Protester Trial, B.C. Pipeline Blockades, CO2 Emissions Surge 11-10-21

The Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 500th Climate Justice Forum radio program, produced by regional, climate activist collective Wild Idaho Rising Tide (WIRT), features the Great Big Lesson for Climate and Nature, presented by youth and education groups live from the United Nations COP26 climate talks in Scotland.  We also share news and reflections about proposed north Idaho lakeside logging projects, Veterans for Peace acknowledgements of Armistice Day, a Spokane oil train blockader, and his upcoming climate necessity defense trial, indigenous blockades of a British Columbia gas pipeline river crossing, and coal and gas emissions surges to pre-pandemic levels.  Broadcast for almost ten years on progressive, volunteer, community station KRFP Radio Free Moscow, every Wednesday between 1:30 and 3 pm Pacific time, on-air at 90.3 FM and online, the show describes continent-wide, grassroots, frontline resistance to fossil fuel projects, the root causes of climate change, thanks to generous, anonymous listeners who adopted program host Helen Yost as their KRFP DJ. ~Helen

  1. Thanks, Helen, for all you do! I think you do an excellent job on the radio, and I wish it reached more places. You’d be SO good on NPR. 😊
