The Wednesday, October 13, 2021, Climate Justice Forum radio program, produced by regional, climate activist collective Wild Idaho Rising Tide (WIRT), features opening ceremonies of  the Indigenous Peoples’ Day Sunrise Gathering at Alcatraz Island in California, and discusses news and reflections on north Idaho highway relocation construction bids, Washington silicon smelter proponent silence and another Amtrak derailment, a Spokane oil train blockader’s climate necessity defense trial, Oregon and Washington liquefied natural gas terminals hearings and decisions, Nevada lithium mine opponents’ litigation and land defense, indigenous climate demands and fossil fuels protests in Washington D.C., British Columbia gas pipeline blockaders’ call for supportive actions, first Minnesota Line 3 tar sands oil flow and ongoing resistance, and a solidarity action training session.  Broadcast for nine years on progressive, volunteer, community station KRFP Radio Free Moscow, every Wednesday between 1:30 and 3 pm Pacific time, on-air at 90.3 FM and online, the show describes continent-wide, grassroots, frontline opposition to fossil fuel projects, the root causes of climate change, thanks to generous, anonymous listeners who adopted program host Helen Yost as their KRFP DJ.
