The Wednesday, September 8, 2021, Climate Justice Forum radio program, produced by regional, climate activist collective Wild Idaho Rising Tide (WIRT), features news and reflections on COVID-19 cases among youth amid schools reopening and a pandemic surge and protection battles, Idaho forced oil and gas leasing hearings, Oregon air quality permit denial and possible closure of a Portland terminal for covert tar sands trains, North Dakota oil train route bridge fires, upcoming talks, action trainings, and protests of the north Idaho fossil fuels pipeline-on-rails, and a Nevada court decision and massacre commemoration addressing indigenous concerns about a proposed lithium mine.  Broadcast for nine years on progressive, volunteer, community station KRFP Radio Free Moscow, every Wednesday between 1:30 and 3 pm Pacific time, on-air at 90.3 FM and online, the show describes continent-wide, grassroots, frontline resistance to fossil fuel projects, the root causes of climate change, thanks to generous, anonymous listeners who adopted program host Helen Yost as their KRFP DJ.
