On Thursday, June 11, 2020, Wild Idaho Rising Tide (WIRT), on behalf of itself and its over 3,200 climate activists, members, friends, supporters, and allies, offered written comments and accompanying information in a letter of objection to Snake River Oil and Gas’ (SROG) February 24, 2020 Application for Spacing (docket number CC-2020-OGR-01-001), its potential approval by the Idaho Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (IOGCC) and Idaho Department of Lands (IDL), and resulting infrastructure construction and operation for oil and gas extraction within the Payette River watershed in the Fruitland, Idaho, area.
