Climate Justice Forum: Montana Coal Train Spill, Third Panhandle Paddle, Idaho & Washington Energy Committee Meetings, Halted Montana Coal Mine, Dakota Access Lawsuit Against Water Protectors, Tacoma Gas Plant & Wisconsin Pipeline Protests 8-23-17

The Wednesday, August 23, 2017 Climate Justice Forum radio program, produced by regional, climate activist collective Wild Idaho Rising Tide, features updates on the Third Panhandle Paddle in Sandpoint and the Montana Rail Link coal train wreck and spill into the Clark Fork River in Montana, and news about meetings of the Idaho Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and the Washington Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council.  We also cover a Montana court victory over expansion of an underground coal mine, a Dakota Access pipeline company lawsuit against NoDAPL, water protectors, and protests of a liquefied natural gas plant in Tacoma and an Enbridge tar sands pipeline in Wisconsin.  Broadcast for five and a half years on progressive, volunteer, community station KRFP Radio Free Moscow, every Wednesday between 1:30 and 3 pm Pacific time, on-air at 90.3 FM and online, the show describes continent-wide, community resistance to fossil fuel projects, thanks to the generous, anonymous listener who adopted program host Helen Yost as her KRFP DJ.
