The Wednesday, March 3, 2021, Climate Justice Forum radio program, produced by regional, climate activist collective Wild Idaho Rising Tide (WIRT), features Shelley Brock of Citizens Allied for Integrity and Accountability (CAIA), talking about fossil fuels and waste injection wells, forced extraction leases, and their impacts and legal challenges in southwest Idaho. We also cover news and reflections on Biden administration review of an Idaho lakeside timber sale, ExxonMobil release of its Canadian tar sands reserves, police harassment of British Columbia pipeline opponents, indigenous resistance to a Washington gas terminal, revised Canadian laws on dangerous trains, and webinars on solidarity actions and new Washington fossil fuels rules. Broadcast for nine years on progressive, volunteer, community station KRFP Radio Free Moscow, every Wednesday between 1:30 and 3 pm Pacific time, on-air at 90.3 FM and online, the show describes continent-wide, grassroots opposition to fossil fuel projects, the root causes of climate change, thanks to generous, anonymous listeners who adopted program host Helen Yost as their KRFP DJ.
